I have a silver 2004, and the same thing happened to me in a turn ,i was leaning left and doing about 55mph and the bike felt like it was going out from under me but the tires were holding fine, My heart stopped for a second and then all was fine. But i do love this bike , ive had it for 2months and have put on 1000miles.
