Just wanted to get a few words in about my Ms. Eli. She is a 97 model with 36,000 miles on her. My wife and I ride her 2 up most every day I´m home, and to date no problems to speak of. Only extra service has been to get the carbs cleaned which eliminated a low rpm sputter we were experiencing. She pulls a trailer most of the time when we are touring and she does wonderful. We´ve made several long rides to date and look forward to many more. I am going to see if I can submit a picture or 2 to this web site. It´s been the best bike I have ever owned, and thus far the only bike I would consider replacing her with would be a V-Max. I have test rode all the new power cruisers and none do what Ms. Eli does, or as well. Good luck and enjoy riding.....Later.....
