I’ve owned my GT750P5 for over two years now. When I bought it, the mileage was a genuine 4,700. It’s now done 18,000. It’s solidly built, (as are tanks!), does 50 mpg most of the time, and has been reliable on the whole. The no maintenance shaft drive is a benefit as the bike is used all year round. It has a screen and full set of NonFango luggage, so plenty of carrying capacity. The only faults I’ve encountered are an ignition coil packing up on the way to the BMF. Replacement bought for £10 from the autojumble. It has an irritating oil drip from somewhere in the left engine case, where the drive gearbox, clutch arm and various other bits are. I’ve replaced all sorts of bits but nothing seems to stop the odd drip now and then. Like the bike very much, don’t intend to sell it. |
