Leo,
I own a 1981 KZ 750 LTD. I put 10,000 kilometres on it this season. I´ve done everything from replacing sprockets, chain, fork seals ... the whole thing basically.
It´s a great bike for a starter.
It´s got a big, heavy chain on it - a 630. Be careful not to run with it too tight, it´ll eat your sprockets. If you need any specific tips, email me. If I don´t know, I can find the answers.
