I am having some difficulty working on this bike, I have opened the carbs up and made sure they are clean, apparently from the damage done to the vacuum seal, I am not sure of the technical term, but it´s the soft rubber that creates a seal for the throttle, there were tiny holes in this part so I have replaced it and reassembled the whole works, but alas not the apparent problem, I have spoken to my wise father about it, and he´s actually done quite a bit of the work, and he says they syncronization could be off, so my question is, could that throw off the motor so? And if not, then what? So I have mentally wrote a list of characteristics and they are as fallows: *Idles great, especially once warmed *Hit the gas and it putters like your in 5th gear going 10mph *Lugs out at 5,000rpm *No power what so ever Thank you for your time and please help!! |
