I´ve owned several twins and appreciate there torque and anvil-like relibility,just not there weight. With regular upkeep they will last a long time.The last one I owned went 70,000 miles before rebuilding the top end,head gasket,valve shims(which are gatting hard to find)
The carbs,bs38,are easy to modify and are used on many diffrent bikes
