I bought a belt driven LTD 750 years ago for parts. It ran badly but what do you get for fifty bucks(bad cam). A couple of years ago I bought another one(1983) at an auction for $240.00 dollars. I got it running and eventually stripped both bikes and made a belt driven ´83(repainted from the frame up and on the very cheap). I have 8 other bikes but now for some reason I enjoy the Kawi. For a 750 it is far from as fast as my other ones but it has a nice relaxed feel. I did add engine guards and footpegs to keep my feet up. What is the story on the slow starter. It has a different engaging system than I have seen. Anyway to speed up the starting revs even a couple. Dean
