| ok, i got a 1979 kawasaki b4 free. the right place at the right time, i guess. I´ve had to do some work to it (holes in the gas tank, new tires), but now it needs serious stuff if it´s gonna stay on the road (head gasket, front shocks). is it worth it? damn thing seems to shake uncontrollably over about 60 mph. the original owner (many years ago) says it always did that. I wonder if that´s intrinsic to the bike (the unusual twin engine?) or something that can be fixed. any info from anyone still riding this bike would be helpful. |
