I just picked up this bile a few weeks ago. All in all it was in pretty good shape for a 34 year old motorcycle. Just needed some elbow grease, tune up and a good deep cleaning. It now purrs like a kitten. I recently got rid of a 09 Harley Sportster due to repeated expensive mechanical issues. I must say my new Kawasaki rides like a caddy compared to my old Sportster. I guess I got used to the vibration of the Harley because now this Kawasaki feels like the smoothest riding and shifting bike that I have ever owned. I once owned an 85 KZ550 many years ago which is what attracted me to this 750 LTD and I now remember why I liked my Kawasaki so much. Powerful, smooth, and rock solid. Harley owners can call Japanese bikes disposable all they want but I am now riding around on a 34 year old Kawasaki that I would not trade for ANY Harley. I have been on both sides of the fence and I can say from experience that I am now and will always be a Kawasaki man.
