I´m trying to understand the fuel petcock on the 1980 Kawasaki 750LTD I just bought. I am not new to motorcycles or repair and maintenance but I do not understand this setup. It is labeled RES -- PRI -- ON and the valve lever has FUEL ==) on it. I understand the valve lever label but not the labeling on the valve plate. I also have a fuel leak that only occurs when the engine is off and the lever is in the PRI position. I´m used to ON/OFF/RES petcocks and no position on this one appears to actually shut off the fuel.
