Kawasaki Z 750 discussion forum:Big problem? |

| I bought an 82 Kawasaki LTD 750 a few weeks ago. Ran like a top since I bought it, now its running awful. I took it out for a ride yesterday, and it ran like a champ all morning. I let it sit for the rest of the day, then after dinner I started it up to go gas it up for the next day. It would hardly idle and when I took it to the gas station it refused to go over 45mph and simply sounded sick. Then after arriving back home it would keep an idle decently, and rev high, but bluish smoke started comin out of the right pipe. My brother thinks this is a head gasket problem. As it is low on oil (plus blue smoke) I add this to the list of possible issues. If anyone has any information, please let me know. I´m a noobie bike owner, this is my first. I pretty much know my way around engines, but never played with a motorcycle. Any information helps, thanks. |
