Have 89 gt 550 battery going flat when bike left lying for a few days.Tried to start her nothing put on lights to see and they go dead,charge the battery for about 5-10 mins starts fine.New battery in but a few days after it was put in I think it was acid from overflow tube came out and started eating paint from frame so I re routed it.Think battery could be overcharging.Conan
