This may be a repost. I dont think my 1st post worked. Sorry if it is.

I was just given an 81 Kawasaki LTD 550. It had been sitting without running for at least 5yrs. After doing alot of rewiring I finally got it started. It ran smooth, but after a few minutes it started leaking alot of oil.

So I am going to rebuild the engine. I have no idea though what parts to get. I was wondering if someone here could give me a list of parts I need to rebuild it. Or if someone could tell me where I could get a rebuild kit. Also if there were any books on the subject.
