Tach Cable Oil Leak

I was wondering if anybody knew how to fix an oil leak thats coming from where the tach cable goes into the engine? I already replaced the tach seal and it stills seeps out enough to make the front of the engine nasty looking. i noticed that where the tach goes into the engine there is a fitting that looked a lil losse but i couldn´t get it tightened. I though that might be the reason but i´m not sure.
