I need to lower my 1980 550 KZ LTD about three inches. My wife has recently taken up riding and this bike is a little to tall for her.

Any ideas or suggestions are greatly welcome. I don´t have the knowlege or resources to do too much "mechanic" work so the easier the suggestion the better, but all suggestions are welcome as I know a guy I can pay to do the work if needed.
