Have a Z 550 model -82 which refuses to start after winter. Starting motor not rotating only a weak clic sound. Have tried to connect battery to car battery with same result. Star motor jammed in smoe way?

Starting by running it not possible as 2nd gear as not coming in.

Grateful for hints...
