my transmission isn´t shifting, my starter rarely grabs a gear to wanna start. in other words it farts a couple times and then sends the starter spinnin until i let off the electric ignition and try it again. it´s my first bike and i´ve never worked on one before. the guy that i bought it from said that there might be something wrong with one of the ´dogs´ but i´m not sure what that is or where to start looking for it to put it back into place. please help
