I found an 85 454LTD with 7K miles on it in pretty good shape for 1200 (offer 900?) the carbs were gone through, rubbers very good, seat is clean no tears or rips, only problem is trip meter won´t reset...no big deal. Is it worth it as a starter for my wife? She took the AMA course, on a 250 Rebel, and did fine. I want to start her small, then work up to about a 750 or so. She is not tall, and seat height is critical. Any and all input for the next 36 hours (midnight Tuesday) will be greatly appreciated. J
