do the diaphragms have a air bleed, or hole in it to vent on both fuel pump assy. My 1980 440 is not cranking until i pull out the sliding diaphragm of the fuel pump.I then notice that both have what looks to be super glue or silicon over a the same spot on each of the diaphragms for each carbs fuel pump.. are these holes a part of that pumps air venting system. do i need new diaphragms
