| Hi, to whom ever is out there reading this. I just aquiered a beat up 81 kawa kz440 ltd, that´s about all I know about it. I´ve never had a bike before, but my friend rides and this bike was his brothers that lives out of state. The bike has not been running for I don´t know how long. I basicly got it in pieces. I really need to get this thing running again because it´s going to end up being my only piece of transportation. I would appreciate if anyone could advice me with anything. I´m pretty broke and am looking to make it run first and slowely but shurely get better parts for it. For now I´m looking at used parts just to get it going. Here is the problem with it... 1.) The starter I got in pieces in a box, the magnet housing is broken. I checked e-bay and all I could find used was a starter for a 550. Does anyone know if that is compatable with my 440? Thanks in advance to whom ever can school me. |
