I had a new 81 kaw 250 w/chain drive in 1981. My first bike and I loved it. Rode in winter here in Jersey too, I loved it so much. Sold it in ´85 then just this past year bought a 81 440LTD w/belt drive. Heard it was the best, havent ridden it yet, it´s in the shop getting new accessories and replacements. Am looking forward to the experience and will get back to who ever on the belt drive thing. Heard it is smoother in shifing, no chain clanging. We´ll see.
