I have a Kawasaki 440 LTD (year 1980) that has a Kiehin Carburetor. The numbers on the carb are 1275 PK17. The problem I am having here is that the bike races up all the time as if the throttle was sticking. No cables are sticking and the carbs were taken off and cleaned. This problem seemed to have happened overnight and I have no idea where to look here. There aren´t any air leaks and all things seemed to have been checked over a thousand times. Changing the bike from the first gear to the second while the engine is revving at about 4-4 thousand RMP´s is quite difficult. This problem seemed to have started slowly and gotten A LOT worse overnight like I mentioned. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Lee. Brantford Ontario Canada PS. Was told that I maybe needed a new carburetor so I am looking for a price on a used one. |
