I have a 1984 Kawasaki KZ 440 LTD. I had trouble with having it run on one cylinder. The trouble was that I had lots of fuel gunk in my tank (it had been sitting 10 years) and that fouled the carbs. One of the jets was plugged sollid. I installed a inline fuel filter and cleaned the carb for the umptieth time and now it is running fine. I will have to replace the inline fuelfilter often I think.
