Depending upon how long the bike had been sitting before you bought it, the carbs may be seriously gummed up. A cleaning kit specific to this year and model is available from any good Kawasaki dealer for about $30.00 and it´s not tool hard to do if you take good care to keep track of the many small parts involved in the process..
