I´ve had my 2001 W650 since new. It´s now a classic cafe racer. I am puzzled by one thing, however. My speedo (electronic, sensor at left side of engine) stopped working. It appears from ad´s I´ve seen trying to replace the speed sensor, that U.K models used mechanical speedometers with the sensor at the front wheel. Is this the case and could I modify my bike to accommodate a mechanical, cable run speedo. Thanks in advance
