What is the easy way to tell if the timming chain is correct.
BNike pops and sputts - won´t go much above idle. Had lots of rust in the tank. I´ve taken both carbs apart several times and cleaned them out. Still same... Timming is correct with strobe light.
So I´m leaning towards jumped timming.. I know that this doesn´t usually happen. Previous owner said he downshifted getting off the freeway and it ran bad ever since.
Any help would be appreciated JACK
