I am a newbie looking to buy my first bike. I have narrowed it down to the Vulcan 500, the Honda Shadow DLX, and the Yamaha VStar Custom. I really like the Vulcan. However, my concern is with maintenance. It seems that a smaller engine, like the Kaw, will have many more moving parts subject to wear and tear and potential failure. Any comments. Also, how much below sticker, ought I be able to get a new Vulcan?
