I have a 500 Vulcan and love it. It is just the right size for me. I am 5´8" and wieght 175. I have been a ridder for about 4 months. I tried sitting on other bikes and they were too big. I feel comfortable on my bike. The only thing I am coming up against is that there are not alot of add on parts for the Vulcan 500,like there are for other bikes. It is very limited to what you can add to your bike. I have been wanting to add saddlebags. But I haven´t found any that I truely like. I have been looking for locking and hardside. But I would truely recomend that if you are comfortable with the bike and like it´s size, go for it. I do not regret getting mine. I try and ride it everyday, especially on weekends for long rides. :-)
