Removing speedo housing from tank?????

How does the speedo housing remove from an 06 Vulcan 2000? I removed the one screw at the rear section but the housing is still connected in the front. Feels like it should just pop out with pressure but I´m not sure and I don´t want to break it. Any ideas?? thanks
