On the road since April 2007, 7,500 miles. Riding at 70+ mph red light comes on (oil/water). Pull the bike over and turn off. Turn the bike back on after as little as 10 seconds, and the red light is off, sometimes it takes up to 10 minutes. Seems to happen after I have been up and moving for at least (100 miles + or -). Happened again this last week started at about the 120 mile mark. After having to pull over about 6 times, and another 120 miles, I decided to turn around. Heading back to OTD Motorcycles in Oakland at 55 mph on I-5;n ow at 55 no light comes on. So I´m thinking the water pump is not able to pump to capacity. The topend being water cooled and air via the flanges. Of course the shop can´t duplicate the 120 miles. I have an extended warranty, so the cost would be absorbed by the insurer; and not Kawasaki. However without cause and effect the shop can´t submit a claim. Another issue I noticed before I turn to headback to OTD. The power between 4th and 5th seemed off, hard to explain. Any ideas would be a great help!!
