Hello fellow rider. I moved up last year from a 1999 Drifter 800 to the Nomad 1600, WOW if you like comfort, power, smooooood rider and i´ll stop there, to drive this bike is to drive in comfort, the shifting is awsoom and the drive saft ride is great, moving from a cable clutch and a chain was a small adjustment, I was riding last night with a fellow Defender with the same gike and all he had for the Nomad was paises. So if you don´t have it and your ready GO FOR IT. Ride Safe
