900 classic LT belt noise fixed by loosening drive belt to lowest safe tension. Mine downshifts fine and usually only drop down one gear if needed, no engine distress. Seat was very definitely designed for short rides. I just returned from a 1200 mile 3 day ride and with my seat reworked I was good for 2 hours. Good Luck!!! Great bike, bang for buck hard to beat!!!!
