since i cut 3 1/2 inches of my windshield i gained almost 10 mpg overall and no buffeting on my helmet. vision at night much better now that i can look over the top instead of through it. a lot less resistance when riding into a headwind. bike looks better as well now that the windshield it not so tall. removed tank id badges as well.
