The problem appears to be in the fuel injection control unit. Kaw has to know this. The problem exists in almost all VN 900´s to varying degrees. My local dealer has sold approximately 50 of the 900 and has had reports of this problem and/or stalling problems with almost all of them. I recently read a test report in one of the bike mags that reported that the bike did not seem to want to slow down when the throttle was closed. I believe that Kaw is now attempting to avoid a very expensive recall.
