Boy, I´m not so sure about the speedometer on our bikes being in error, once you have taken the bike to 90 or the dollar mark 100 mph, and like I´ve said before I´m 70 and had this makes my 146th bike in my life, and the 100mph on this bike seems ever bit as fast as all the rest of them, I also have an 900 Eliminator, which gets there a lot faster, but it seems the same MPH to me on this 900 LT. I also bought a new Virago (Yamaha) 250cc twin, that will get all the way to 90 mph, and of course that seems to be 125 mph ha. It also get over 90 mpg if you ride it in the 50 mph speed. Joe
