Thanks much for your timely reply Mark! I had wondered about the size issue since it seems many feel smaller bikes are preferable for newcomers in this arena. I have learned however that despite its size, the new 900 is actually lighter than you would expect it to be. Tough having only handled cars, I´m sure I´ll be in for quite a thrilling experience even at 50 mph!
