I read your post yesterday and when I was riding today tried to recreate it. The only thing I noticed once in 3rd gear around 40 mph was the bike didn´t decelerate that much when I let off the throttle. It only happened once and I tried it several times with no problems. Have read your other post and have had no backfire. I have had the bike two weeks and have over 1200 miles on it.
