Hello.... I had a 2007 900 Classic LT....had about 10k miles on it.. Met ALL my expectations...then more... Sold it last year because of medical problem and also I was told that I needed a cruiser with larger engine if I were to take extended rides... Everything on the bike were perfect for me....except what I said about extended cruising,,, Low seat..liquid cooled..Fuel injection...shaft drive...other... Now I am looking for another Vulcan...but 1500/1600 cc engine,,,little heavy for me to stand back up if it fell over with me... I finally looked at Yamaha Royal Star...but these were 16/17 cc engines...and over 100lbs more than my 900...but funny thing...being a lot heavier....and larger engines...with carb....that go gas mileage of what the 900 did..or even better....50/MPG or around on road...45+- in town... I found out that the LT meant Limited Touring.. I guess my question is could I use the 900 for tours...say stop/rest bike every now and then...but still use it for cruising without over doing it... thank you.... |
