Test rode an 800 XC on Saturday, March 26. Loved it before I got out of the parking lot. It was an open house for Triumphs, and I had to cancel only to have the day open up again. I was very skeptical about it until I rode it. I am 66 and have ridden vintage Triumphs all my life. The last new Triumph I bought was a 1973 Trophy Trail out of desperation because my Yamaha DT-1 blew up (only Jap bike I ever had. That´ll teach me). Went back on Tuesday for further discussions and another longer ride, and put a deposit down on Thursday. It is very smooth. The seat can be raised an additional 2 inches (I´m 6´ 4\
