Buying a mean streak with 20,000 miles?

I am thinking about purchasing a 2002 Meanstreak with 20,000 miles on it. It has been laid down on it´s right side and will need work/replacement on the exhaust, gas tank, foot pedals, and headlight. I should be able to get it for $3,500 to $4,000. What are you guys´ thought on a meanie with this many miles? What is the longevity of these bikes? Am I buying a headache because it has been laid down? Thanks for any input.
