I replaced the filament incandescent type lite with a red LED cluster replacement. To further limit vibration between the bayonet base and plastic red cap (vibration can break internal LED wires) I ran a bead of silicone RTV around the joint and let it cure. This modified/glued LED has not failed since being installed and seems vibration resistant.
