2000 model (deep red) bought in July 2001. 10,500 kms so far. Knocking noise around front end traced to under-torqued headstock bolts after supplier fitted factory screen. Front crash bars fitted. 160 kms from full to fuel warning light. Very difficult to keep wheels clean because of deeply valanced mudguards although the mudguards keep the dirt on the rest of the bike to a minimum. 10,000 kms service cost £95.00, will need new rear tyre at about 16,000 kms. Cruises at 140+kph and returns about 13kms per litre. Big, ugly and cheap - very much like its owner! A nice bike to ride, even over distances, and a very good conversation piece. Very much a rarity on the roads despite the £4600 purchase price. Every born-again biker should have one.
