I bought a 1999 kawasaki 1500 Vulcan classic in may of 2014 and 830 miles later the oil light came on and tappits started to rattle,it was full of oil and after doing research oil pump went out well the plastic gear gave up.bike has 30308 miles on it,kawasaki said sorry your blowed they want 1800.00 to split cases and oil pump and gaskets,they have repaired lots of these for that reason.any help will be welcomed.
