There appears to be no difference in the clutch and brake mastercylinders on the 1994 and 1996 VN1500 A series. The part numbers are identical on the diagrams on the Kawasaki website:
http://www.buykawasaki.com//.
You need to follow the links to the parts diagrams for your particular model.
