I rated the 2010 SS although I have a 2001 SS that I´ve owned since Jan. 2002. There´s no changes except my 2001 has gold aluminum rims and the 2010 has silver aluminum rims. The SS is a great dual sport bike. There´s really nothing as capable on the market by any other mfg. The 250cc single is awesome and high tech. It´s reliable but for an unknown reason I had to replace the piston and rings @ 3000 miles due to the rings locking up and causing loss of compression. No help from Kawa on that. I like the way it handles off road and on the road. It handles good up to about 75 mph after that it is very light and twitchy. Keep it below 80 and you will like the handling. Most people agree that the SS have very good styling and equipment. I have zero complaints and feel fortunate to have ridden the SS.
