AN END CAN AND POWER COMMANDER WOULD INDEED INCREASE HORSEPOWER. YOU SHOULD ALSO CONSIDER A K&N DROP IN FILTER. THESE MODS GAVE ME A 13 H.P. INCREASE ALONE. WITH NO SIDE EFFECTS. THE BIKE HAS AN EXTREMELY LEAN SETTING FROM KAWASAKI FOR EMISSIONS SAKE, AND THE POWER COMMANDER FATTENS THINGS UP A BIT. THE RICHER MIXTURE ALSO LETS THE ENGINE RUN COOLER AND MAKES THE CHOKE LESS NECCESARY. FOR JUST A CHEAP MIDRANGE RUSH (20 BUCKS) TRY A ONE TOOTH LESS FRONT SPROCKET. THE FACTORY CHAIN AND ADJUSTERS WILL ACCEPT THIS MOD AND THERE WILL BE A VERY NOTICEABLE EFFECT ON LOW AND MID ACCELERATION....HOWEVER, YOUR ENGINE WILL SPIN FASTER AT FREEWAY SPEEDS AND TOP SPEED WILL BE REDUCED. YOULL ALSO WANT A \\
