I have a 2005 Kawi 500R and it has a hesitation when you take off. It will fire a couple of time the catch up and take off. However if you if you throttle up to over 4500 rpm and let off the clutch there is no hesitation. When riding at highway speed, you can take punch it and there is not hesatation at all. I have had the carburator looked at and the mechanic said that is was clean and working just fine. It also has a Jardine exhaust that the owner before me put on. He changed it from a daul exhasust to a single exhaust. I don´t know if that could be it. I hope some one could shed some light on this problem.
