this for those who arent sure about this bike and wonder if its right for first time riders. I´ve been riding dirtbikes for 10 years and ride a XT350 right now, but when i got my license at 14, i looked no further than the Ninja 250. EVERYONE absolutley loves this bike. It handles like a sport bike around corners, yet cruises like Harley in a straight line. You feel like you have complete control of this bike when you ride, it doesnt feel squirmy or anything. And for a 250, it can also gt up and go. 0-60mph in 5-6 secs (depending on rider). Thats not bad for a 250, and faster than the newer models. Top Speed is around 110mph. Either way you go though, wether its cruising, getting started, or learning how to take corners and training like that for a bigger bike, the ´06 Ninja 250 is the best choice you can find.
