I weigh 205 lbs. and got my ´05 Ninjette up to 105mph on a 5 mile straight-a-way. (According to another, longstanding, reliable forum, this is the top speed for this bike.) It was broken in properly and had 2,500 miles with a fresh oil change. I tried again on the same road, same conditions, about 1,000 miles later and can barely get it to 100mph. I use this bike to commute to work with speed limits of 50 - 70mph for 45 of the 50 round trip miles. In the next few weeks I´m going to get a full maintenance and replace the sprockets for better high mph revving. If I break 150mph after that, I´ll repost, otherwise you can guess that 105mph for 200lb. riders is good, maybe 110mph for someone that weighs much less. AND as for the HP output for the 250R, that same \
