These are the main things i would consider:
1. Comfort
which bike physicly fits you the best. I´m 6´1", i don´t fit on buell´s the Ninja´s(250 or 500) are a good fit.

2. Price
which bike is truely affordable to you

those two choices will put you well on your way to desiding on a bike. (My opinion)why buy a nice bike with a junk engine?(Buell)
I´m very happy with my 05 250R, but i´m good with small engines.
you have to think about how you want to drive, and choose the bike that fit your needs best.
